The last two options are new to me, and will be passing this along next week in my PL sessions. Thanks Eric - I didn't know you could put an embedded video into a Drawing.
Nifty tip. Kind of makes me wonder, though, why they don't just let you do it directly? The first option really is the most basic of the bunch. You may be tempted to claim it is actually cheating a bit to call this a solution, since the user has to leave the Doc to see the video. Still though, it is an option and might fit your needs.
Basically the first option is simply to add a hyperlink in your Google Doc to the video you want to show. When the user clicks on the link, a new tab will open in their browser to play the video. To add a hyperlink, do the following:.

Type in the text you want to make into a hyperlink, such as "Click here to view the video" Next, select the text. With the text selected, click " Insert " in the top menu bar, then click " Link ". In the pop-up box, type in or paste in the link address for the video.Acl flow
Note: If linking in a video from your Google Drive, be sure you have shared the video properly so people can view it. Click " Apply " when done. The text will now be clickable. When a user clicks the text, a new tab will open and load the video you have linked. If you want to get a little more fancy with this method, instead of adding the hyperlink to some text, you can add the hyperlink to a picture instead.

I mean, it's only one month. How hard can it be? Well, I'm going to find out because today is the day I start my new project: "30 Days With. Each month I will embrace a new platform or technology--immersing myself in it and abandoning the tools and software I am familiar with.
I will blog each day to share my experience, documenting the good and the bad at least in my opinion. In addition, I will write up how-to's and tips to help guide those who might follow my path someday. This article is the first document I have ever actually written using Google Docs. To kick off the ambitious new project, I am giving up my security blanket-- Microsoft Office. I have used every version of Microsoft Office since the mids, and I make my living in Microsoft Word.
Google Docs. So check back each day to follow my trials and tribulations with Google Docs. I will do my best to view Google Docs objectively, but I readily admit that more than a decade of using Microsoft Office will make it hard not to judge Docs against the standard of Office.Maik haik hutto

You can draw them the size you want, change the color to what you want, and more. In this tutorial, I will show you how to draw arrows and change the look of them. You can create a new document to work in for this tutorial if you want.
To begin, you will need to draw your arrow. Go to the top of your document and click Insert gt; Drawing. When the box opens, click the Black Arrow icon at the top of your box. Then use your mouse to draw the arrow the length you want it.
Let go of your mouse when you have finished. To change the size of your arrow, you will need to click it to select it. Then you will need to click the arrow beside the lines icon at the top of your document. Make sure you click the arrow beside the lines and not the dashes. You can place your mouse over the icon and the correct one will say Line Width.
Once the box drops down, click the size you want to apply to your arrow. The arrow will then transform to the size you chose. To change the color of your arrow, you will need to click it again to select it.
Then you will need to click the arrow beside the paint bucket tool. When the box drops down, select the color that you want to apply to the arrow. The box will close and the color will be applied to the arrow. You can also change the arrow type. Select your arrow and you will see the two arrow icons at the top of your box. You will need to click the arrow beside the last arrow icon at the top of the box. With Google Slides, you can create, edit, collaborate, and present wherever you are.
